Micro-Dismembrator laboratory vibrating mill for fine grinding from Braun Biotech International GmbH, Melsungen.
For the homogenization of brittle, frozen or hard material, the fine grinding of pigments. Fast sample digestion. Can also be used as a tissue homogenizer or simple mill.
The B. Braun Biotech Micro-Dismembrator S has proven itself in many laboratories. It is used in botany or environmental analysis to shred needles, seeds and other hard parts of plants. Chemists can grind pigments. Doctors, pathologists and toxicologists use the device to shred frozen tissue samples, hair, bone samples or teeth. Microbiologists can break down frozen cell sediments; Biologists can shred tissue samples from the nitrogen tank in the micro-dismembrator.
With the various shaking containers, grinding balls and glass beads, the devices can be optimally set up for the specific application. Due to the high efficiency, the samples are broken down quickly - the isolation of DNA, RNA and proteins is much more efficient than when using hand homogenizers. In addition, the use of enzymes that are otherwise used for cell lysis can be reduced. This avoids the use of foreign proteins that mix with your sample. This is e.g. B. helpful in proteome research
