Fryka Multistar Circulating Chiller -10°C to +40°C
Application:
As a replacement for cooling systems cooled with process water; for dissipating process heat; for thermostatting equipment such as centrifuges, microscopes, spectrometers, distillation apparatus, rotary evaporators, electrophoresis units, and reaction vessels.
Technical design:
The chiller's cooling unit consists of a hermetically sealed refrigeration circuit with forced ventilation by an axial fan. The heat exchanger is made of non-ferrous metal and has a 3/4" filler neck with a vent screw and two 10mm angled hose connections. The cooling unit also features a circulation pump, which is not self-priming. The 3.1-liter polyethylene reservoir has a high-performance copper cooling coil and a circulation pump, screwed together to ensure watertight connection. This allows it to be connected to open and closed cooling systems. The polyethylene reservoir has expansion recesses for pressure equalization during temperature changes and ice formation. The internal circulation pump pumps the coolant from the reservoir; all pipe connections are located within the reservoir, thus eliminating leaks.
Electrical connection: AC 230 volts, 50 hertz, maximum current consumption 1.8 amps. All electrical components are VDE-tested. Protection is provided by two 6.3 AT microfuses in the device socket (rear).
Refrigerant: R 134 A, CFC free.
Capacity: 100 grams.
Coolant: Alcohol, ethanol, or glycol can be used as antifreeze.
System Control:
Microprocessor-controlled temperature controller with membrane keypad and 3-digit red LED display with PT100 sensor. Control accuracy +/- 1K.
Condition: Used
