The robust IKA RW 16 B is a high-quality overhead laboratory stirrer designed for reliable and precise stirring applications. The unit is particularly suitable for use in laboratories, research, education and quality control and is designed for stirring quantities of up to 10 liters of water.
The speed can be continuouslyadjusted from40 to 1,200 rpm. The low-maintenance DC motor with belt drive provides smooth operation and is designed for continuous operation (100% duty cycle). Electronic current limitation as well as overload and stall protection provide additional safety during demanding applications.
The chuck accommodates standard stirring tools with shaft diameters of 0.5–10 mm. The hollow shaft also allows suitable stirring shafts to be passed through during operation.
