The Heraeus Multifuge 4KR is a large-volume, refrigerated universal centrifuge.
The Heraeus Multifuge 4KR is designed for the highest sample throughput in large laboratories. The unique double rectangular bucket can be used to centrifuge micro test plates and vessels.
The Heraeus Multifuge 4KR is optimized for automated laboratory processes in central clinical laboratories.
The Diagnostik™ rotor allows commercially available sample racks to be centrifuged directly.
The Heraeus Multifuge 4KR is also a compact centrifuge for
blood component separation. Up to 8 five-fold blood bag systems can be processed in a special wind chamber rotor.
The Heraeus Multifuge 4KR is equipped with various safety features:
• The housing and rotor chamber are made of sheet steel, the inner armor is made of steel and the
front panel is made of impact-resistant plastic.
• The lid is equipped with a viewing window and lid lock.
• The centrifuge lid can only be opened when the centrifuge is switched on and the rotor is stopped.
The centrifuge can only be started when the lid is properly closed.
• Rotor detection prevents excessively high speeds from being selected.
• Electronic imbalance detection, SMARTspin.
• Emergency lid release: Only for emergencies, e.g. if the power supply is interrupted
