The HCTS2000 MK2 registers and sorts closed primary tubes as bulk goods using the barcode (material code) or according to the LIS specifications into various target compartments. The machine optimizes the workflow when samples are received in the clinical chemistry laboratory or in hematology and helps to speed up the processing time.

Cap color recognition
With this equipment option, the cap color of the sample tubes can be used as an additional sorting criterion and/or used for plausibility control by comparing the sample material read from the barcode with the given cap color. The system can distinguish up to 20 single-colored caps. In addition, the geometry of the sample tubes is recognized. This ensures reliable differentiation of the samples by recognizing the vessel type, even with complex spectra of sample tubes.
This sorting machine is available twice. The equipment is slightly different. The better equipped sorting machine has damage to the plexiglass cover.
